What the role is
We are looking for UX/UI Designer who is proficient in creating and enhancing the user experience of a product or service for web and mobile application.
What you will be working on
Responsibilities:
- User research: Conduct user research to understand user behaviours, needs, and motivations. This may involve interviews, surveys, workshops, usability testing, and analysing data.
- Wireframing and prototyping: Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and interactive prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts.
- Information architecture: Organize and structure information to ensure easy navigation and findability within a product or website.
- Interaction design: Design interactive elements and define user interactions, including user interface (UI) components, animations, and transitions.
- Visual design: Create visually appealing and consistent designs, considering colour schemes, typography, and brand guidelines.
- Usability testing: Conduct usability tests to gather feedback and validate design decisions, making iterative improvements based on user feedback.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to ensure a cohesive and user-centred design approach.
- Accessibility: Consider accessibility guidelines and principles to ensure inclusivity and usability for all users.
What we are looking for
Requirements:
- Qualifications Design, Computing/Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 3 year of experience as an UI-UX Designer for web/mobile application or similar role
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and practices.
- Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Knowledge of usability testing methodologies and tools
- Familiarity with Material Design, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and understanding of their impact on UX design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with team members and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset and ability to translate user research and data into actionable design insights.
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality designs within given deadlines.
- Familiarity with responsive and mobile design principles.
- Continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest UX design trends, tools, and technologies
