Job Description Summary

The Finance Manager plays a key role in ISC Beijing site and will own 3 SBUs (9Orgs) daily finance support to ensure SBUs strategic initiatives’ implementation and local manufacturing operation excellence. She/he will drive localization programs, establish strong partnership with business, supporting function and operation teams.

Job Description

Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

  • Partner with business leaders in leading plant planning cycles including developing estimates, operating plans/forecasts/reviews and reporting;
  • Work with plant manager and global SBUs leaders/CFOs to understand & drive opportunities for productivity improvement and managing cost. Lead and provide analytics on strategic initiatives;
  • Partner with plant manager in inventory management improvement, turn improvement and annual PI accuracy.
  • Lead team for analyzing key financial metrics – VC & BC, MOH, CCP & CCP% and monthly & quarterly estimate sessions with extended team;
  • Drive operation team to identify unusuals, controllables, operating drivers. Make sure root cause analysis in place and action owners assigned for each;
  • Lead standard costing review and annual rate set up;
  • Driving standardization & process improvement across operating businesses in all aspects of planning and reporting, including best practice sharing;
  • Identify process improvement needs and lead implementations to continuously improve the way the finance team operation
  • Strengthening financial governance framework and work with controllership and external audit for STAT report purpose;

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
  • Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function; able to quickly grasp new ideas
  • Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing
  • Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, COGNOS, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros)
  • Fluency in English
  • Confidence / Assertiveness: possess influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position; for example, work closely with business leaders to achieve business objectives
  • Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows
  • Adaptable/flexible: being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations
  • Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others
