Job Summary:
  • As a member of Renesas’s Global Sales, Marketing, Business team, our focus is on delighting our customers and solving their everyday challenges by being experts in our segment, proactive in our field, ethical in our practices and collaborative in our processes.
  • Renesas is seeking a strong self-motivated candidate for Sr. Sales Manager for key automotive accounts team.
  • A successful candidate will carry strong communication skills, effective prioritization skills and have the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • The best candidate will be responsible for growing Renesas business at our strategic Automotive accounts.
  • The Sales Manager will be in charge of global coordination of all account activity in addition to driving demand creation in his or her region.
  • Territory coverage: East and North China, based in Shanghai.
Performance Objectives:
  • Sales growth and demand creation:
  • Manage business growth through new content creation with key strategic accounts.
  • Ensure the balance between short-term gain and long-term growth for all opportunities and initiatives to achieve and exceed preset sales targets and increase market share.
  • Pipeline management:
  • Utilize data and analytics to monitor and grow the opportunity pipeline in order to make sure that the accounts are on track for sustainable growth over the next 3-5years.
  • Utilize system/tools to ensure authenticity of information and intelligence gathered from the field.
  • Customer Delight:
  • Engage all customers directly or indirectly, by attracting and supporting Renesas’s demand creation and growth strategy, both locally and globally.
  • Collaborate with customers in order to find opportunities and develop long term customer relationships; Specification and business reviews with business units to drive New Product Introduction.
  • Negotiate with the customers and renew contracts in reference to periodic pricing.
  • Collaboration with product line:
  • Bridge the gap between the customer and the business units to promote early engagement.
  • Provide insight from customers and the market to help drive company Intellectual Property and product roadmaps.
  • Conduct regular deep dives with the business units to help stimulate product ideas into real projects supported by R&D.

Minimum qualifications and requirements:
  • Bachelor degree or above in EE or related field;
  • Good semiconductor and electronics background;
  • Excellent English;
  • Excellent communications skill;
  • Business acumen;
  • Team working spirit;
  • engineering or marketing experiences will be a plus;
  • Minimum 5-8 years sales experience;
  • Working experiences with Automotive application.
