About the Vineyard: Located in the Swan Hill region of North West Victoria, this large scale vineyard is recognised as producing a range of premium quality and non-mainstream wine-grapes including Cienna, Tarrango, Crouchen and Orange Muscat.

Description:
About the Role: Major responsibilities of this position include the operation and maintenance of the irrigation systems, maintaining the irrigation infrastructure and fertigation, and a variety of vineyard duties in accordance with seasonal requirements in order to assist in the development and maintenance of the vineyard. Duties include tractor operation, vineyard spraying, pruning, harvesting operations and maintenance of irrigation and trellis systems.

Skills and Experiences:
About the person: Experience/knowledge of scheduling irrigation and operating irrigation systems would be highly regarded. Ideally the successful applicant will have experience in viticulture or other related areas such as agriculture or horticulture, and machinery operation experience including tractors and implements. It is essential that you possess a good level of health and fitness and an enjoyment of outside work. A strong mechanical aptitude would also be an advantage.

At times the successful candidate may be required to work weekends and out of regular work hours (penalty rates will apply).
